San Francisco Church
The origin of its foundation dates back to October 1744, when it reaches a group of eight Jesuit missionaries who raise their mission house two blocks away to the south east of the square. It was declared a national monument in 1984 by the Ministry of Education.
Community located 16 Km. east of San Fernando, in this sector are places such as Cocos, Antukuyen and Agua Fría, special natural areas for Trekking, Mountain Bike, Paintball and Flora and Fauna. To Horseback Historical sites, is the Mal Paso Trail, used by the guerrilla Manuel Rodríguez Erdoiza as escape to the area of Aguas Buenas, in the Pre cordillera de San Fernando.
Located on the banks of the river course, 17 Km. east of San Fernando, it is a must for tourists visiting Sierras de Bellavista and Termas del Flaco. By the kindness of its climate, offers alternatives for those who enjoy sport fishing, hiking or outdoor activities such as kayaking on the river course or river Tinguiririca. The community has restaurant service establishments. Its name is due to the time when its bridge was used to communicate Tinguiririca community.
Termas del Flaco
It is located 78 Km. east of San Fernando and 1720 Mts. on sea level. The site offers lodging and food establishments that operate from December to Easter, also offer bath alternatives in natural pools, tubs and mud baths. The thermal water temperature is between 73 and 96 degrees celcius, and its composition is recommended for cures of arthritic, rheumatic, respiratory, gynecological disorders, gout, neuralgia, among others.
