Preventive Policy on Workplace Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Violence in the Workplace
"Hotel Ontiveros declares that it will not tolerate behaviors that may generate or constitute situations of sexual harassment, workplace harassment, or violence at work. Interpersonal relationships must always be based on mutual respect, regardless of the position, gender, sexual orientation, race, or religious beliefs of the employees. The employer acknowledges that harassment and violence can result from poor management of psychosocial risks in the workplace and is committed to managing these risks to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Furthermore, it is aware that violence and harassment are also the product of uncivil and sexist behaviors, and is committed to developing actions to address them. This commitment is shared by both management and employees, who join together in a collaborative and participatory effort to prevent and eliminate these behaviors."
Law No. 21,643 "Amends the Labor Code and other legal bodies regarding the prevention, investigation, and sanctioning of workplace harassment, sexual harassment, or violence at work," known as the Karin Law.
