Booking Policies
Reservations must be made via email to reservas@hotelontiveros.cl or by phone at (56-72) 272 19 59, including details such as passenger names, the number of rooms requested, whether additional beds or a crib are needed, and the check-in and check-out dates. Once we receive your request via email, we will send a confirmation email.
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED, EXCEPT UNDER LAW 20.422 (Guide Dogs).
CHECK-IN: 13:00 HRS. CHECK-OUT: 11:30 HRS.
- WEEKEND RESERVATIONS
To make a reservation valid and effective, you must receive written confirmation from us. Reservations are only considered confirmed once the payment for the first day of the stay has been deposited into the account specified by the reservations department. Without prior payment, your reservation is considered a pre-reservation, which is subject to:
A reconfirmation via email from the reservations department. If no payment is received, the pre-reservation will be canceled, and your request will be subject to hotel availability at the time of check-in. The hotel is not responsible for any issues arising if the guest does not meet the pre-reservation requirements.
Deposit or transfer details will be provided promptly. Once the payment is made, please send the receipt to reservas@hotelontiveros.cl.
- CORPORATE RESERVATIONS
To make a reservation valid and effective, you must receive written confirmation from us. Reservations are only confirmed after receiving our confirmation via email. Companies with active agreements with us will not be required to make advance payment for the reservation.
NO SHOW AND CANCELLATIONS
- NO SHOW:
Failure of the guest to show up without prior notice will result in the hotel charging for the room as a no-show.
- CANCELLATIONS:
All cancellations must be recorded and confirmed in writing.
If your reservation was made by a company with an agreement with our hotel:
It can be canceled up until 15:00 hours by phone (after calling, a cancellation email must also be sent) or via email on the same day of the reservation until 15:00 hours.
If your reservation is for a weekend or holidays:
- Cancellations made 7 days in advance: No charge
- Cancellations made between 6 and 3 days in advance: 50% charge
- Cancellations made 72 hours or less in advance: 100% charge
- If your reservation is for a group:
- Payment method: 50% deposit at the time of reservation and the balance 10 days before check-in via electronic transfer.
- Refunds in case of cancellation:
- 50% up to 10 days before the reservation date.
- 75% refund 5 days before the reservation date.
- No refunds from 4 days to the date of check-in.
- RATE CONDITIONS
FOREIGN GUESTS:
Rates are quoted in US dollars and do not include tax (19%). A foreign guest, NOT A RESIDENT OF CHILE, and classified as a tourist, may request exemption from the tax by presenting their passport and immigration form at check-in. The Chilean government requires payment for hotel services to be made exclusively in US dollars. Failure to comply with these provisions will result in the hotel charging the 19% tax.
CHILEAN GUESTS:
Rates are quoted in Chilean pesos. All national and foreign guests residing in Chile are subject to the VAT charge. For information on group offers and promotions, please contact reservas@hotelontiveros.cl.
OTHER CHARGES:
- Children under 3 years old do not pay if they do not require an additional bed.
- Children over 4 years old pay 10% of the single room rate, even if no additional bed is required.
DISCOUNTED RATES AND PROMOTIONS:
All rates with discount percentages or promotions are non-refundable.
EARLY CHECK-IN
To ensure the room is available, it must be reserved for the night before your stay. Therefore, the cost of the previous night will be added to the total of your stay. If the room is available and the guest arrives before check-in time, the room will be provided at no additional cost.
LATE CHECK-OUT
- After 11:30 hrs, late check-out is available until 13:00 hrs as a courtesy, subject to room availability.
- After 13:00 hrs and until 15:00 hrs, 50% of the reservation value will be charged, subject to room availability.
- After 15:00 hrs, the full charge for the room will apply until the following day at 11:30 hrs.
IMPORTANT:
For any of the mentioned effects regarding early check-in or late check-out, the guest's room must not be reserved for that day. Only in this case can early check-in or late check-out be requested.
